CAPTURED IN TIME – A GLOBE PARADE

In the 1980s, both the world and the town of Globe were very different places as a series of images from a local parade back then so hauntingly captures. The Twin Towers were still standing, rent and groceries were affordable, ‘woke’ was something you did each morning, and the name COVID-19 had yet to be coined. It was a time of greater innocence, freedom, optimism, and many would say, sanity.
